PICYA started the “Club of the Year” (COTY) program in 1993. This was accomplished as a result of the desire to encourage member Club participation in Association activities and to strengthen member yacht clubs.
This award is presented annually at the November meeting to the club having the most participation points at the end of the fiscal year. Clubs can earn up to 250 points based on delegates meeting attendance, participation in PICYA activities such as Opening Day, Leadership and Management Conferences, and the Youth and PHRF Regattas.
